Red amaranth is also known as Chinese Spinach but has no origin to spinach aprt from the way its looks. Micro Red Amaranth has magenta leaves and stems with small, oval-shaped leafs.
Taste
Red Amaranth cress has a mild earthy beetroot flavour.
Usage
Is great with stir-fry’s, eggs, soups and as an attractive garnish to salad and meats. This is used more for its look then flavor due to the mildness.
